Bradford County!

I just love this weekend away!!!!  Wish we could have stayed longer, but Bob had to work... I soaked in every minute I could in the peace and quiet!  I just love the idea of no internet access and riding around on the ATVs all weekend!

First I worked on the worst task in the world... scheduling...

BUT... sitting in the middle of nature, listening to all the sounds of the woods, and with an adult beverage I think I got most of it figured out!  Fingers crossed it all works with the teachers!

Later we headed to Tioga Downs in NY for some horse racing after a yummy supper in an old train station.

Saturday late afternoon we made our annual trip to my favorite winery!  We enjoyed lots of yummy wines and shared several bottles and some cheese from a local Amish cheese maker!

Before we left on Sunday it was raining so RJ helped himself to some dripping water!  Too silly that boy is!!

Classroom ready.

This is going to be a rough year... I have NEVER had to share a room before.  I am trying to make the best of it.  It is hard, not going to lie! I am not confident when having someone observe me and I always get nervous.  Well, now... I will have another speech therapist in the room with me all.the.time!  That means I am on display all.the.time.  It makes me very nervous/worried/bummed out.  I guess I will get used to it, but it is still going to be a rough transition for me!  The gal I am sharing with is excited because she won't be sharing with OT anymore... I think I would rather OT because they don't really know what I am 'supposed' to do...  Oh well... trying to remain positive!!  One big positive... I have windows!!!!!

BULLIED.

Bullied...one the first day of school... bullying doesn't happen on the first day of school.... unless you are RJ apparently.

I couldn't believe it when I came home from school and saw a big red mark on his face near his eye.  After some time he said a kid in his class pinched his face and he promises he didn't touch the other kid first.  Ok, guess it happens... but I got no phone call, no note, no nothing from his teacher.  Wouldn't something come home to tell me what happened?  Geez!!!!

RJ's FIRST day EVER!!

Such a big boy!  I just can't believe he is in kindergarten now!!!  He is so super excited to start school.  I think he is most excited about going on the big.yellow.bus!  He was up nice and early, had a warm breakfast and was ready to go early!  He just looks so gosh darn handsome!!  I still can't believe my baby is entering Kindergarten!!!  When did he grow up?!  I mean, seriously?!  My prayer for him is that he continues to be a sponge, absorbing more and more knowledge and that learning starts to become easier for him.  I pray that he tries his best at school and keeps his emotional side for home.  RJ, try your best, do your best, and work hard!  I love you Buddy-Boo!
