Morgan asked for her first 'big time' haircut!

I held her off for a week or two, but she kept asking and really wanted to get her hair chopped cut.  So, we went... she originally wanted over 10 inches off.  That would have made her hair in a bob!  Yikes!  I explained we could cut it has short as the hairdresser said SO that we could still get her hair up into a ponytail for ballet.  She agreed that would be a better idea!

So... 7 inches off later she is very happy with her new haircut!  Although I wanted her hair to keep growing, and growing, and growing, I have to admit... it does look nice and healthy now!

...why did she want her hair cut you may ask?  She told the hairdresser, "Everyone in my class has shorter hair so I want shorter hair too!"  Is it already time to share the wise saying, "If everyone else jumped off a bridge..."  Oiy.

As we watched the play Morgan would lean over and tell me about how it was like the book OR how they skipped a part or added a part!

We had so much fun!  It was only an hour but it made my little girl so happy!

 OUCH!

I hope my excessive hand washing keeps me slightly healthier...

Swim Lessons

I haven't updated on swimming for a while... RJ and Morgan continue to increase their skills.  RJ is still making big leaps and bounds but Morgan's progress is harder to see because she is working on defining her skills.  Hopefully she will continue to get better, even if it is at a slower pace.

Aunt Melanie came down to watch swim lessons. She was pretty impressed with how the kiddos swam (I think!). 

RJ had a slight meltdown about getting a shower, but I won, he got washed and we left. 

Aunt Melanie enjoyed supper with us and then we all headed home.

Daddy-Daughter Dance

Bob and Morgan attended their first ever Daddy-Daughter Dance!  

Morgan and Daddy seemed to have a great time!

Hopefully they can have more dances to come before Daddy is 'uncool'!
